The Yellow Headed Day Gecko lives in North-western Madagascar.
They are omnivorous, eating insects, fruit, pollen and nectar.
They can live 10+ years in captivity.
Females lay a pair of eggs inside bamboo canes, young hatch approximately 39-52 days later.

About the Yellow Headed Day Gecko
These lizards have distinguishable features. A yellow head, a flattened body, a long snout and a turquoise back and tail. These features together with sticky toe pads, allow them to live on upright bamboo. They are dependent upon this plant as they use this plant to live on and lay eggs in.
They're most active in the early mornings and late afternoons.
