By purchasing or receiving an adoption, you agree to the following:

  • Animal adoption is a symbolic gesture and does not imply ownership, rights, or control over the animal. All animals remain under the full care and ownership of Drayton Manor Zoo. Adoptions are for conservation and support purposes only.
  • Each adoption package includes benefits as outlined at the time of purchase. Welcome pack will be sent via email within 2 working days of purchase.
  • Adopters' Day will take place on Saturday, 31 January 2026. (Subject to change)
  • Each adopter is entitled to free entry for themselves and one guest to the Adopter Day. Additional guests may attend for a small supplementary fee.
  • What's Included: Exclusive access to the zoo for the day. A special opportunity to meet the keeper of your adopted animal. Informative keeper talks for all adopted animals.
  • Full event details and any additional information will be shared closer to the date.
  • The Zoo reserves the right to change or withdraw elements of adoption packages without prior notice.
  • Certificates, materials, and other benefits may vary slightly from promotional images or descriptions.
  • Adoptions are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
  • Adopters will be invited to renew their adoption at the end of the term but are under no obligation to do so.
  • The welfare of the animals is the Zoo’s top priority. Animals may be moved, paired, or taken off-display at any time.
  • If the adopted animal is no longer available (e.g., due to relocation, illness, or passing), the Zoo reserves the right to transfer the adoption to another animal of the same or similar species without notice.
  • Adoption fees are non-refundable and treated as donations in support of the Zoo’s conservation and animal care work.
  • Payments must be made in full at the time of adoption.
  • Adoption packages do not include free entry to Drayton Manor Zoo unless explicitly stated.
  • The Zoo will not be held responsible for any losses, damages, or disappointment resulting from changes to animal availability, display, or package benefits.
  • Personal information provided during adoption will be handled in accordance with Drayton Manor Resort’s Privacy Policy.
  • By adopting, you consent to being contacted about your adoption and related Zoo activities.
  • The Zoo reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time without prior notice.
